Privacy Policy

The short version. Perioda stores everything you enter on your own device. It has no account system and no server. We cannot see your cycle, your symptoms or your notes, because they are never sent to us.

1. Who we are

2. What the app stores, and where

Everything you enter is written to a database file inside the app's private storage on your phone. That includes:

The dates you mark as period start and end days
Moods, flow levels, symptoms and any notes you write
Your settings: theme, reminders, PIN, and the cycle numbers you gave during setup

None of it is transmitted anywhere. It is not backed up to our systems, because we do not have any systems that could receive it.

3. What we collect

We collect nothing. Perioda has no analytics, no crash reporting, no accounts, no email collection and no tracking of any kind.

4. Advertising

Perioda is free and is funded by advertising supplied by Google AdMob.

Ads are requested with non-personalised advertising enabled.
We never send your cycle dates, symptoms, moods or notes to any advertiser, and we never use them for ad targeting. No custom targeting parameters are set.
To deliver and measure ads, Google may process device-level information such as a device advertising identifier, coarse location derived from IP address, and app interaction events. That processing is governed by Google's privacy policy, not by us.
You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in Android Settings, under Privacy then Ads.

5. Permissions

Permission	Why
Internet	Only to load ads. No app data is sent.
Notifications	To remind you before your period. Scheduled on the device.
Vibrate	Haptic feedback when you tap a mood or symptom.

Perioda does not request the camera, the microphone, contacts, files or precise location.

6. Children

Perioda is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect anything from them. Since the app collects nothing from anyone, there is nothing for us to delete.

7. Your control over your data

Delete everything: open the app, go to Me, then "Delete everything". It is removed from the device immediately and cannot be recovered.
Uninstall: removing the app deletes its database with it.
There is no copy anywhere else, so there is nothing for you to request from us and nothing for us to hand over to anybody.

8. Law enforcement and legal requests

We cannot produce your cycle data in response to any request, from anyone, for any reason. We do not hold it. This is a deliberate design decision, not an oversight.

9. Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change ever meant the app started collecting something, we would say so clearly inside the app before it took effect.

10. Not medical advice

Perioda predicts from the dates you enter. It is not a contraceptive, it cannot diagnose any condition, and it is not a substitute for a doctor.
